Youth Organizing Program 

The Youth Organizing Program is a three-month training program that provides a space where youth can exercise their leadership skills and participate in civic engagement opportunities that addresses the needs in their community. Students participate in lectures, group activities, workshops, and presentations from community leaders. Students are given opportunities to speak to their local and in district representatives where they can share their personal stories and experiences and help elevate the community’s voice and experience.

  • Young people ages 12-17 can participate
  • Group meets twice a week at CARECEN
  • First-come, first-served

  • Advisory CommitteeYouth Advisory committee meets once a month during the school year to discuss issues that are local, state pertaining to the needs of their community.
